This simple but practical Queen 60-inch platform bed is great value for your money, as it does not require a box spring. In addition, the decorative legs will give your bedroom a stylish touch. It can be combined with all South Shore’s collections available in Pure White finish. It is designed to support a maximum weight of 500-pound. It is also available in Pure Black, Natural Maple, Ebony or Chocolate finish. It measures 82-1/2-inch long by 63-1/2-inch wide by 13-1/2-inch high. It is delivered in a box measuring 83-1/4-inch by 18-inch by 11-inch and weighing 131-pound . Made of non-toxic recycled CARB2 compliant laminated particle panels. Complete assembly required by 2 adults. Tools are not included. Made in Canada.

this bed does NOT include a headboard as is shown in the picture... that is very misleading. it is just the basic platform. if I had known that, I wouldn't have bought it.also, it says it is "made of wood"... it's MDF. While MDF is a wood product, it isn't really wood, and it would have been nice to know that ahead of time.the instructions aren't exactly clear, and not all of the pieces are pre-drilled.I bought this bed under the impression it was a WOOD bed with a headboard, it is neither.

Great buy for the price. Very sturdy. No need for bed springs. Sits low to ground, still easy to clean under.

DO NOT buy this bed or the headboard..go to Ikea instead. I spent 3 hours putting it together and the instructions were ridiculous and difficult to follow and seemed like there was steps missing..Also, it is HEAVY I mean beyond heavy so if you have to move it upstairs it would take 2 very strong men to move it up there..there were so many dang pieces! There were also holes that were supposed to be there that weren't which means you have to try and drill them yourself, and of course you can't so you have to just screw the screws in the best you can. I am trying to return it, but because I moved Amazon can't seem to get it together to have UPS come to my new address and say it has to be picked up from the address it was delivered to. It's going on 2 weeks and 4 phone calls and it has yet to be picked up. If they don't come and get it, I will think twice before I purchase from them again. If they don't pick it up next week then I will miss the deadline to return it and will be stuck with it. My point is, if you are moving then wait until you are in your new place before having anything delivered.
