This simple but practical Twin 39-inch platform bed is great value for your money, as it does not require a box spring. In addition, the decorative legs will give your bedroom a stylish touch. It can be combined with all South Shore’s collections available in Pure White finish. It is designed to support a maximum weight of 250-pound. It is also available in Pure Black, Natural Maple or Chocolate finish. It measures 78-inch long by 43-inch wide by 13-1/2-inch high. It is delivered in a box measuring 81-1/2-inch by 23-1/4-inch by 4-1/4-inch weighing 100-pound. Made of non-toxic recycled CARB2 compliant laminated particle panels. Complete assembly required by 2 adults. Tools are not included. Made in Canada.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Purchased this platform bed for my 2 year old Grand Daughter and if the STANDARD Twin Mattress is place on one side of the platform....there is a 5 inch Gap on the other side (so the Platform part is TOO LARGE). For me this made it unsafe to use for my Grand Daughter....so I had to dis-assembly it....find a very large box and shipped it back for a refund.Amazon's customer service Rep. Mona was extremely helpful in processing my return and refund.I will continue to be a Amazon Customer.

I bought this bed for my two year old little boy. I really like the appearance of it, and it is the perfect height for a small child. My two year old can get up easily without the use of a step ladder. Assembly took my husband maybe an hour...very easy. However, I did notice that the posts were extremely sharp after assembling the product, so i stuffed thick blankets around each corner immediately. Although this was not attractive, I thought it may help until I could find some corner guards. Unfortunately within the first 4 hours my 2 year old had removed one of the blankets and slid out of that side of the bed. It cut him all the way down his back and looked terribly painful. After many tears, band aids, and a half a tube of neosporin we are much better and just have a big scar. Anyway, these corners are very difficult to find corner guards for because they are essentially posts with 4 sharp corners on each. Since the posts are small, the corner guards that I have found seem to be too large to fit on all 4 corners. So, I decided to look for caps instead but have not found any small enough. In the mean time, I have added bungee cords to secure the blankets. This has added to the safety but largely detracted from the appearance of the bed. I am still in search for the best solution...I'll post it when I find it.
