first off - do not be fooled by the picture, a headboard is NOT included with this platform bed, which is the only reason i bought it. it's ridiculously overpriced for just the platform. if they had clearly indicated that the headboard was not included i would have never bought this.secondly, this bed is not easy at all to put together. if you use a power drill, the particle board splits, but a regular screw driver won't do the job. holes are not drilled properly, and they certainly do not line up with the hardware or the corresponding pieces of the bed. this bed is not aligned, no matter what i do. the "platform" pieces of it (which there are 4) are completely mis-aligned. it is not an easy bed to put together. i've put lots of furniture together, and it's taken me all day to do this.it looks cheap. not happy with this purchase at all. i feel like i wasted 300+ dollars. i could have found better quality at ikea.
